Introduction

The Research and Innovation Festival 2018 (RIF-18) will be held on February 28, 2018. It will be a one day showcase of innovative thinking and new technology. The overarching objective for the event is to bring together a range of innovative minds and to help students identify their strengths and priorities for professional and career development.

The RIF-18 will be a helpful tool to enable researchers and their supervisors to review training and development needs and to effectively identify and plan for the wider development of students as a researcher. Whatever future career choice students make, engaging them with such research and development programs and other relevant opportunities will also enhance future employability of students.
